Do you want to learn Arabic? Do you want to understand the Qur’an and the Sunnah directly? Read this:
I have been learning and teaching Arabic for nearly two decades. Over these years, I’ve narrowed down the key elements that Arabic learners need to focus on to three main elements.
Firstly, It’s crucial that a student of the Arabic language diversifies and systematically expands his/her vocabulary from the very outset of his journey. Secondly, it’s important to learn Arabic sentence structures in a gradually progressive manner. Thirdly, it’s necessary to acquaint oneself with the unique ingenious morphological system of the Arabic language. Ideally, all these three take place simultaneously to concurrently develop the student in each of these crucial scopes.
These three scopes need to be systematically approached both theoretically and practically. When it comes to theory, there are literally 100s, if not 1000s, of books which serve students of the Arabic language. However, the practical aspect of learning lacks systematic literature. Either the books are too advanced for students to handle or too simple for students to get anywhere.
This book, by Shaykh Abu al-Hasan Ali al-Nadwi, is one of the only books which serves this purpose and gap. For this reason, this work has become a staple work in nearly all schools of Arabic around the globe. Our line-by-line translation of this ingenious work is meant to further facilitate the learning curve that this book already offers in the systemic acquisition of the three scopes that I described above.
I am happy to announce that we have released the second volume of this book. You can find both volumes on Amazon, Kindle, and Book Depository.
I pray that this humble effort of ours serves in you in your journey to learning the language of the Qur’an.
